Meet Heidi

Heidi’s journey into the healing arts began with a moment of deep clarity, inspired by the International Council of 13 Indigenous Grandmothers and their call to care for the earth. Guided by this awakening, she immersed herself in Asian healing traditions before earning her master’s degree in acupuncture and becoming a NCBAHM Board‑Certified Acupuncturist and licensed by the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners. Her work has carried her through diverse communities—from pediatric hospice to community clinics and retreat centers—where she has cultivated a warm, intuitive, and trauma‑informed presence rooted in safety, listening, and connection.

In her practice, Heidi weaves gentle needling with supportive modalities such as cupping, tuning forks, gua sha, moxibustion, e‑stim, and hands‑on palpation, drawing from Master Tung, Five Element, and Daoist lineages. Fluent in Spanish and guided by an attuned touch, she creates an environment where healing unfolds naturally and at each client’s pace. Now settled in New Orleans after her time in Costa Rica, she embraces the city’s rhythm while nurturing her love of art, gardening, kayaking, biking, and time with family.
